If you are a beginner technician, purchase the 1sec dry for premium retention. Only advance to 0.5seconds if you lash at an immediate speed. Otherwise you risk the glue curing mid air, which contributes to poor retention.
Using a faster drying glue will not improve your speed. Always use a glue that dries AT the speed you work at.
